Car Seat Safety Clinics

Moore Pediatrics schedules about 3 car seat safety clinics each year between April and September. These clinics are open to our patients as well as non-patients. I Am, Too, The Boss Of You

Taught by Dot Tretreault about once a year, this very popular parenting program, "I Am, Too, the Boss of You!" is open to all parents seeking an effective and respectful approach to better parenting. During the 8 week class you will learn

how to help your child listen and cooperate
how to gain respect
how to communicate honestly and effectively
why your child's development matters
how to help your children succeed
that you are not alone; parenting is hard for everyone

Dot Tetreault, LMSW, ACSW has been providing parent education to families in Jackson County for 16 years. She is a private therapist and is honored to assist parents and children through the healing process of a variety of family related issues. Her specialties include topics such as the divorce process, grieving and loss, trauma, depression and the parent/child relationship. She holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan.

Special Events for Our Patients

Annual New Parents Lunch

We invite parents (grandparents welcome too!) with a baby born in the preceding 12 months to join our providers for a special lunch at the Treehouse in downtown Chelsea. Last year the lunch was held on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Watch this space for the 2010 date. There is no fee for this event; however, we ask that you RSVP by calling the office.

Coffee with the Doctors

Let your child(ren) play at the Tree House in downtown Chelsea while you have coffee with their pediatrician. Admission to the Tree House is 50% off and light refreshments will be served. Open to our patients; space is limited to 8 parents. Contact us for upcoming dates and times.
