An authentic recreation of a Woodland Indian settlement with lamplight tours on Saturday night.

Living historians will recreate an authentic Woodland Indian village for The First People of Michigama, an event commemorating Michigan's original residents. The event features traditional Native crafts, cooking, games, and trade at the French fur trading post.

Witness the sounds, smells and sights of American Indian History as it comes alive again in Michigan
Walk among the Natives in an authentic Woodland Indian Village.
Watch the Fur Trade unfold in the French occupied town.
Join the natives in a game of Lacrosse or Double Ball.
See traditional Native crafts and cooking and games.
