Violin, piano, guitar and voice lessons

Chelsea Center for the Arts

Chelsea Center for the Arts (CCA) is a non-profit community organization dedicated to developing, fostering, and promoting art and music in Chelsea and the surrounding areas. At the CCA, you’re encouraged to discover new skills or refine existing ones by participating in diverse music and art programs led by hands-on, experienced instructors.

The CCA was founded in 1995. This grassroots effort quickly became a pillar in the local area, supporting Chelsea’s creative community arts efforts.

Private and group music lessons

Highly-trained instructors offer private and group music study for all ages and abilities. Most instructors hold Masters of Music degrees and have several years of teaching experience.

Individual talents are celebrated as we share in the joy of music with first-time students and with those who have been taking music lessons for years. Lessons offered include:

  • Piano
  • Guitar, violin and cello
  • Voice / singing
  • Clarinet, flute, recorder

Art classes and workshops for all levels

Creative visual art instructors teach, encourage and inspire you to have fun and nurture your inner artist. Enriching classes, workshops, and studio time are accessible for all ages throughout the year, including:

  • Painting
  • Pottery
  • Sculpture
  • Photography
  • Drawing
  • and much more!

Center Gallery

Don’t miss the Center Gallery at CCA, a showcase for fine art by instructors, students and local artists, featuring paintings, photography, stoneware, sculpture, jewelry, art glass, textiles and more. Exhibitions are free and open to the public. We hope to see you there!
